I left Earth because I have no friends

Humans are weird.
We tend to place social interaction above all else. Social interactions are so valuable to humans that they have entire companies dedicated to the practice of harvesting information around these interactions and selling this information to the highest bidder. Ironically, this has had the effect of isolating people from each other.
Your frustration has reached a boiling point, and you have decided to leave this planet for good, in a rocket no less.
The first digital game I made while an undergrad at UCSC, for CMPM 80K.

Probably not your intent, but this is good IPA practice trying to read and understand it before the text progresses to transliterate it back to English. Dunno why aliens speak IPA, though.
Hi there! Thanks for Commenting.
To be honest I had no idea how IPA was transcribed before making this game, I just used an online translator to do it . The Alien speaks english, but the IPA characters are used to approximate english, to show that this is not their native tongue. I think this is more clever than other ways of doing this, such as writing out words phonetically, or creating a new alphabet.
Online translator for IPA? I mean, I'm sure they exist, but they're guaranteed to be phonemic rather than phonetic. There are just far too many varieties of English for it to simply pick one as "correct."
